Before ordering a Dog Door Replacement Flap, make sure your current dog door flap is the same measurements as those shown in the tables below. Also, we offer two types of Dog Door Flaps, The Dual Dog Door Flap and the Single Dog Door Flap. Dual Dog Door Flaps have a main flap area and a "U" shaped outer flap. The Single Dog Door flap is all one piece. Please make sure you are ordering the correct Dog Door Flap.

How to Measure Your Dog and Choose a Dog Door

  1. Measure your pet from the top of the shoulders to the chest, just behind the front legs. Then measure the width of your pet at the widest point.  This will be either the shoulder or hip area.
  2. Determine your pet's weight.
  3. Select the correct door size based on your pet's measurements and weight.  You will need a pet door with and opening size that is bigger than your pet's measurement.
